Kosher Beef Jerky Gift Boxes: How to Build One
A kosher beef jerky gift box works when it has contrast: something savory, something sweet, and a few pareve things that go with dried beef. It keeps for months, ships without ice, and it is one of the few food gifts that a kosher recipient can eat without a second thought. Here is how to build one.

Packing and shipping
- Keep every bag sealed. Repacking into jars looks nice and keeps far worse; the sealed bag with its oxygen absorber is the preservation system.
- Protect the bottle if there is one; the jerky needs no special handling.
- Add a card explaining biltong. Many recipients will not have had it.
